The Hebei Wenfeng Steel-Aluminum Industrial Park project is invested in and developed by Wenfeng Industrial Group. With a total investment of approximately RMB 35.18 billion and covering an area of ​​nearly 6,000 mu, the project comprises zones for aluminum hydroxide and aluminum-based new materials, aluminum sheet and strip processing, precision aluminum processing, and comprehensive resource utilization. Upon full operation, the project is projected to generate annual operating revenue of RMB 100 billion and tax revenue of RMB 5 billion, while creating 5,000 new jobs. It establishes a cross-border supply chain based on Rusal’s bauxite operations in Guinea (shipping products to Russia and selling aluminum ingots back to Caofeidian), creates the nation’s first demonstration park through the integration of steel and aluminum industries (utilizing waste heat and gas from steel plants to produce aluminum hydroxide and extracting iron from solid waste), and drives the development of a 100-billion-yuan-scale aluminum industrial base through a full-industry-chain layout.
